Doctrine
WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED AND INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD AND IS THE FOUNDATION FOR OUR CHRISTIAN FAITH. IT IS THE FINAL COURT OF ARBITRATION IN THE LIFE OF THE CHURCH AND IN THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER. WE BELIEVE THAT MAN ORIGINALLY FELL THROUGH VOLUNTARY DISOBEDIENCE OF GOD’S LAW. JESUS CHRIST WAS CONCEIVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT AND BORN OF A VIRGIN, DIED FOR OUR SINS, WAS BURIED AND BODILY RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD AND THAT SALVATION IS PERSONAL THROUGH THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SIN UNTO EVERLASTING LIFE. WE BELIEVE IN THE EXISTENCE OF SATAN AND HIS FALLEN ANGELS. WE BELIEVE IN WATER BAPTISM BY IMMERSION, AND IN THE CELEBRATION OF THE LORD’S SUPPER. WE BELIEVE IN THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN EACH BELIEVER. WE BELIEVE IN THE CHURCH’S MISSION TO EVANGELIZE THE WORLD. WE BELIEVE IN THE PERSONAL, VISIBLE RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST; IN THE FINAL JUDGMENT; HEAVEN AND HELL, AND IN THE RESURRECTION OF THE SAINTS.
